Anik G1 is finally being launched today. You should be able to watch the launch on both AMC 9 and Anik F2 C band starting at 1:45 pm central time. I hope there will be some itc programming. This will be the 3rd sat for Shaw Direct, adding about 200 HD channels to their line-up.
I wasn't able to pick it up on either satellite, but I was able to watch it on-line. I believe the video of the launch is also available on U tube, as well as http://anikg1.imgondemanddot com.
