Hello all, was recommended to this site from another forum, looking for more info on the TM-Nano 3T.
Are there any members using the Nano 3T in NorthAmerica?
Recommended firmware?
Is memory upgradeable?
Reviews/Opinions?
US shipper/seller?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the site. I'm not aware of any member having that receiver here. I have purchased 3 Technomate receivers and all were from the UK.

I ended up going with the Linkbox 9000i Local. Since did not find much in US forums on Nano 3T.
Now looking thru the LNB & Dish options..

Depends on what you want to see, I would suggest c band but you need the room, clear sky to the south and a dish of at least 8'.

Hello Costactc! Thanks for the suggestion, I'm thinking Ku for the size. I really only watch local HD channels mostly, HD a must. Just looking at this as a pure hobby. Any suggestions for Ku?
:thankyou:

Unfortunately there isn't much on ku band unless your into ethnic programming. I would suggest a dish of at least 39" and a universal lnbf. NBC feeds on Amc 1 at 103w would be something to keep in mind and they are Mpeg-4.

On Ku, PBS has improved their programming considerably. Midsomer Murders is a very good detective series which allows one to see the beautiful country side and homes of UK on LPB HD 87w. Same on Montana HD at 125w. An a corny, satirical, comedic series on the beach coast of UK. The series is called Doc Martin on LPB HD 87w.

they only make doc martin every 2 years, started filming again a few monhs ago.
the last season was starting to lose it's edge.
Like a house md in a rural setting.

Yeah, I know it's old and reruns galore, but its still a good example of decent programming. Give me a comparable example of what's available in the US.
