Anyone using a typical DishNetwork or DirecTV dish reflector, fitted instead with a Ku-high 11.7 to 12.7 GHz LNB ?
How decent is reception ? Would it get 97W channels ? Or is that satellite too weak ?
You need one of the multi feed dishes that are large oval the single pizza pan ones are not big enough. The larger d*** and Dire** dished do fine on 97 and I even use one on a 103ku and with some fine tuning it will do 125 PBS also. Just get a single universal lnb mount or even a multi and do a couple of sats on one dish. One last thing set the dish center and use the skew on the LNB not the dish if your doing just one satellite.
