Several days ago, lost reception of Movies!, Fox-Ozarks, MeTV, from some satellite near 98W.
Are those somewhere else now ?
Sounds like you are talking about the satellite at 9 or 101West. Those channels should still be there if that is the satellite(s) you are talking about. Have you looked at Lyngsat?
What are your favorite satellites to tune ?
125, 103, 87, 71.9 on the Ku bands, and 105, 103, 101, 99, 97, 55.5 West on C band.
Cost being not a hurdle; which receiver would you drool the most to have ?
I do not see a new receiver that I am interested in. Most of the new 4K satellite receivers look like they are cheap junk, plus this new format has not been out long enough for the price to drop and the bugs o be worked out.
My favorite or best receiver right now is a Vu+ Duo2 with 8 tuners, including 2 terrestrial tuners. This is a linux receiver that runs enigma2 images.

Lyngsat has smelled always flaky to me, seldom finding real/updated data there. Hope to be wrong. Usually I check http://www.satbeams.com/news-2 ; but could not find 99W news there. Re-scanned transponder 3720 H and nothing. All the Lesea and other channels still on the air.

99w has been having problems with some transponders as reported by others at Rick's.
MeTV and Movies! all working for me on 101w. You might try checking that sat out.
As far as current receivers go, a thumbs up for the Vu+ Duo2 followed by the Optibox Raptor. Nothing exciting out there worth spending money on right now.

Lyngsat works pretty good when the channels or information that is being searched for is not new, as would be the case with the channels mentioned in this thread.
Well, Movies!, Fox-Ozark and MeTV resurrected this morning. Back to normal. But 101W ? :tantrum:

Difference of frequency due to lnb drift and time of day of scan and temperature.

Look at Lyngsat 101 West, Transponders 3953V 3957V 3961V 3974V.
3722, and 3720 is 2 MHz. This is not much when considering the amount of the overall frequency of 3.7 GHz. Many factors can cause the 2 MHz of difference including Doppler effect, receiver tuner, and lnb.
