Atemio Memesis no HDMI output

When I do a cold start up I see the Atemio logo on the screen for a bit, then goes black screen as the box boots up. I have normal video out of the AV jacks. Something in the E2 settings?

Post your settings file in etc/enigma2. Sounds like something is not set right, and all info should be in that file.

Ok, at EB's suggestion I tried several HDMI cables today. They all work with the Nenesis IF I bypass my external HDMI switch. My TV only has two HDMI ports, so this switch (remote controlled) expands this to 5 ports. All my other FTA receivers pass thru this switch with no problem.
Anybody know anything about HDMI protocols? Seems to me there is some sort of handshake when HDMI is connected. Do I need a different switch or is the Nemesis hardware the problem?

Did you check all five ports to be sure they were all compatible with the Nemesis? I had problems with an auto five port switch not recognizing a receiver until I tried each port and got lucky.

I just tried all 5 ports on the switch. No go for the Nenesis.
The switch was bought from Amazon and is a Kinivo 501 BN, and supports up to HDMI 1.3

I have a 3x1 HDMI switch with a Manhattan 1933 on one port and a WD media player on another port. If the Manhattan has power, even in standby, it won't let the media player take control of the switch automatically. So, I plugged it into the cable box and have it set to cut power to the outlet when the cable box is in standby, so the media player can then take over the switch.

And then there is that old Sadoun 22kHz switch that if you connect it to a port on a DiSEqC switch and then switch to that port, won't relinquish the port to let it switch to another port...

Funny, these switches, eh?

Hello Pixl
I have the same switch and 5 receivers connected to it and they all are in standby, never had any problems, make sure the output is connected to the TV.

From what I've learned so far I am narrowing down on the receiver as the trouble, mainly the software, maybe the video driver. The HDMI cable and the HDMI switch pass the initial cold boot up screen showing a "ATV" logo. I presume there is the equivalent of a bios in the Nemesis that initially controls the on board devices such as the video. And like a computer, further into the boot, the software drivers take over the video.

I tried the openHDfreaks build today. Pretty much the same as the other builds I've had on the Nemesis. No change in the HDMI output.

Tried the OpenDroid this morning. HDMI still doesn't work thru a switch. I liked some of the features and look of this one.
