I was getting a bit bored and decided to insert the dilectric plate into my lnbf to see what type of results I would have on the circular Atlantic satellites. To my surprise all circular channels were scanning in so I decided to start a thread on it. All c and ku band satellites will be documented from 11-61w with pictures.

First satellite on my Atlantic arc is Express AM44 at 11w, 2 Russian channels scan in:

Intelsat 903-34.5W

Intelsat 903 at 34.5w is the next sat on our Atlantic arc with 1 open channel. I get strong signal quality on the Fox tp as well but signal comes and goes without a lock- tried it on 6 different receivers:

Nss 10/Telstar 11N-37.5W

Nss 10 and Telstar 11N are the next satellites on our arc. This is the first linear satellite where I have noticed a major decrease in signal quality because of the dilectric plate insertion. 3 open channels on c band but really hard to get any type of lock and or picture. Unfortunately, nothing scanned in this morning on ku band on Telstar 11N but I will document what transponders I have scanned in or had decent signal quality:

Sorry for the delay folks but its been a real hectic week. I finally hit the circular motherload on NSS 806 at 40,5w. 267 tv channels scanned in and 51 radio- 136 open channels that I will post as soon as I find the time to do so.

The replacement for NSS-806, SES-6, is currently parked at 26W. I don't know when it's supposed to be moved into its final position, but it was launched about three weeks ago. If you have time, could you check it for test signals? It's also supposed to have Ku transponders, which NSS-806 doesn't.

If I had a worhing tp number I could check to see if there is anything active on Ses 6 or I can guestamate approximately where it is.

Intelsat 14 at 45w is the next satellite with only 2 open channels. Unfortunately when this satellite replaced the aged Intelsat 1R its main footprint is for Central and South America:
