Bent, broken, rusted LNB supports on a BUD...

Hi.
Made replacements. Again. For a second dish.
As the first transplant went so well after a tree fall, and am installing a second BUD that had some very rusted and broken supports.

3/4" PVC (not cpvc !) cut to exact lengths as a healthy original and thermoformed ends. Shown here :

For the second BUD, the post is already planted (behind). Concrete will cure in another day or so to hang it up.

I have found no problems or inconveniences doing this the first time. Everything is solid, will never rust and supports are transparent to reception.

Their length for my dish is 48.0". The 3/4" PVC sections cut to size first, marked 2.5" from each end in my case.
Then turned about 3" of their ends by hand slowly for about 2 minutes, about 1.5" above the electric stove burner in almost high temperature setting, burner starting to glow reddish.
Placed the 2.5" hot and soft end on a sheet metal piece on the floor and pressed down standing my weight on a piece of wood block pressing the pipe for about a couple of minutes to allow cooling/setting, at the same time bending up the PVC length for the correct footing angle.
Then mark where to drill the holes at the flattened ends.

I suggest not to exceed on heat/time application. Never contact the glowing burner, never stop turning. A trial test will fine tune your confidence and tell you what errors to avoid. Mark properly the 2.5" end of the pipe for positioning the wood block edge on it, squashing only the needed area. Have not tried with a hair dryer/heat gun. Have not tried with a bench vise sandwiching between wooden blocks. Watch parallelism when flattening/bending each pipe other end.
You will find it is much easier than described with words. Any minor mistakes correctable by reheating, or restart and lose perhaps $1 for a new pipe section.
