Can anyone confirm lost channels ?

Hi all.

First, let me know if this is the correct forum to ask, or move to the correct place, please.

Am mostly aiming to 99W - Galaxy 16 C -I think- and found 2 channels gone and two with no video:

----> CW, with 03848 / H / 15029 and PIDs 0513 / 0514 /0513 = gone since March 16

----> THISTV, with 0348 / H / 15029 and PIDs 0257 / 0258 / 0257 = gone since March 16

----> Lesea 7, with 04000 / H / 26400 and PIDs 700 / 701 / 8184 = no video

----> Lesea 8, with 04000 / H / 26400 and PIDs 800 / 801 / 8183 = no video

How to restore or how to edit the correct data, or where are they now ?
Thanks.

I am getting Lesea 8 at the same settings as you posted with both audio and video working fine
THIS TV is now at 3816/H/8029 PIDs 769, 770, 769
Getting nothing on tp 3848/H 15029

Hello Externet

3848 H 15029 changed from regular DVB-S (Standard Definition) to H.264 (DVB-S2 or MPEG4) High Definition now at 3813 H 8029. While you used to scan in 3848 H 15029 using a regular SD receiver you will need now a DVB-S2 Mpeg4 HD receiver to get 3813 H 8029

Lesea 7 and Lesea 8 also change to H.264 but Lesea 1 to 6 remains regular Mpeg2 SD in 4000 H 26400 DVB-S TP. While you can scan in 1 thru 6 using a regular SD box you wont get 7 and 8. In order to get all of them you will need a DVB-S2 Mpeg4 HD Receiver.

Hope it give you an idea what happens with such muxes

regards

Thanks, guys.

Seems I need to learn a lot more about doing it right. Edited the figures for ThisTV with the ones you pointed and still get nothing.

Does it mean changing the parameters is not the way to go, should I rescan with 'Auto scan' or 'blind scan' or 'TPscan' ? or something else ?

My humble receiver is a X2 mini, seems it is only a DVS Mpeg2 only.
Will this receiver keep up with these changes ?

Anyone with experience on such unit ? Or links about performance and support comments ?

Toys : 2m HH Unimesh + C/Ku feedhorn + X2mini receiver + Composite to TV.

I have a X2 mini and it works fine on the new mux. Yes, the mini will do DVB-S2 mpeg4 fine. Unfurtunally the tuner on the Mini used to work showing low levels on quality. Its being reported that the new mux will required a bigger dish. What size is yours?? Im using a 10 footer. Leave your box in the new frequency and try to tweak your dish to see if they comes in.

Forgot to mentioned there is a post going on that reviews the receiver you mentioned

Thanks, Carlos.
Seems I need also a new brain as it is taking too much to grab all the terminology.
When you say 'mux' that is multiplexer... is that the transponder ?

The X2 mini will get mpeg 4 ? With some software update or is it its normal operation ?

OK, will tweak my 2 metres Unimesh hoping will show those channels.

Mux is what we call a group of diffrent channels within the same TP or frequency. Most of the times all of them belong to a same owner. Yes, the X2 mini will do mpeg4 HD fine. Make sure you flash your box with the latest firmware which is posted here in his section. Good luck!

Thanks, Carlos for your patience with a novice.

I have a X2 mini and it works fine on the new mux. Yes, the mini will do DVB-S2 mpeg4 fine....

These are the things that drive me crazy and make me pull my hair. They have three X2 Minis.
Mine is Mini M1 supposed to do Mpeg2;
there is a Mini HD supposed to do Mpeg4;
and a Mini Premium.

M1----> http://www.x2sat.com/specifications6.html
HD----> http://www.x2sat.com/specifications13.html

Cannot find out if whatever latest software is available, will apply/make my Mini M1 receive Mpeg4 or will be the same it already has.

Is this the place for Mini M1 ?---->http://www.legitfta.com/forum/showthread.php?22776-X2-Premium-Mini-March-2015-Firmware
Seems not :bigcry:

I'm sorry Externet
All the time I was assuming you have a X2 Premium Mini. I forgot there were so called Mini models before and Yes the M1 is one of them which is Mpeg2/SD. Unfortunately you will not receive the new mux with t his model. There is no firmware or update that will make your M1 capable to receive it. You will need to do an upgrade and get a DVB-S2/MPEG4 model. Sorry for the confusion !

Model that I have is X2 Premium Mini
