DVB-S2 T2MI

I have noticed several muxes moving to a new modulation called DVB-S2 T2MI, especially at 40.5W SES6. Also noticed the signal to be classified as open or free but have read that no FTA receiver can decode it. Have anyone heard of such modulation?? Read that some big companies are conducting test??

AFAIK all or most of those channels using that modulation are available on the big colombian mux 4027L 12833 in S2 ITC 40.5W. My X2 II will scan in the T2MI parameters, but will not scan in like you say. I think tuner card capable of DVB-S2 T2MI needed.

I have been wondering the same Carlos. Thanks for asking.

Actually they have been out for a while, but they seem to be popular for the Russian and some of the Asian channels that are using that particular format. Last time I checked they were selling for about 150 Euros.
