Would be great if I could pick up that sat position but just 4 degrees off my arc to the east.

If I had my dish on a higher pole I wouldn't be able to access it though. My ladder is outdoors year round, I'm always changing lnb or other things. No big deal, after all my arc is 116 degrees which I think is pretty good.

For sure, I would say that's pretty damn good Costa.. My 7.5 footer is on a 12ft pole, 4ft underground and 8ft above ground and I can just barley reach the LNB at my true south to change without falling ass over tea cup....lol

I really need to rethink my dish/actuator. You scan 116 degrees and I am only scanning 84 degrees. I suspect it is the way I installed because I physically max out just east of 55W and I can go well beyond 139W.

You could re calibrate your actuator EC. We only live 45 minutes apart so your arc should be the same as mine. I would push my dish fully east or west depending on what side your motor arm is attached to(actuator arm fully in). Then loosen the the actuator from the dish and point the dish at your extreme sat east or west, scan in that sat then move your dish until it maxes out. This is the way I have setup both of my motors.

First chance I get, I will definitely need to look at this. Just ran my dish to the most westerly sat I get, 139W. I then moved the dish west from there, another 73 counts on the V-Box. Seeing as how the sats at the west end of the arc are quite close together as in V-Box counts, this 73 counts could amount to possibly another 20 to 25 degrees going east. I could then look at whether or not I really want to hold on to 137 and 139 as there isn't a lot on either. There is only Alaska TV on 137 and radio on 139. Now back to the bush to cut wood.

I can't see you having any issues extending your arc then, I switched out my other actuator about a month ago but I'm also using a 24" VonWeise.

Well, the weather is sure not such that I am going to try it now. Just came in from cutting wood and I am soaked through my coat and all clothes. Guess I'll head out and get some hay for the horses.
