Heidi Klum Files for Divorce

After announcing their split in January, Heidi Klum has officially filed for divorce from estranged husband Seal, ET has learned.
Seal & Heidi Klum Going Separate Ways
In court documents obtained by ET, "irreconcilable differences" are cited as the reason for the split. The papers go on to reveal that Klum is seeking joint custody of their children, but that primary physical custody would belong to her.
At the beginning of the year, the couple released a joint statement reading, "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.
