Here I go again Guys

Legit VIP
Sorry Guys for being a pain. I got all the info that I needed, but missed one: The TP to use for scanning that Viper mentioned in an earlier post. Can you post it again please Viper?

Also is Telstar5 Ku is the same as Galaxy 17, cause I do not see any Sat named Galaxy 17 after I loaded the Factory file in my CW 800, but I do see Telstar 5-c and Telstar 5-Ku with the same direction.

Thanks guys really appreciated

Are you sure you want Galaxy 17? There not much on the sat in the clear. Perhaps you are thinking of Galaxy 19 and 970 west.

Try 12152 H sr 20000 on Galaxy 19.

Sorry, Galaxy 19 is the correct one Lol. But the Azimuth and elevation of Galaxy 19 is the same as Telstar 5-ku and Telstar 5 -c. so which one should I use?

Hi saajid, sorry about the other posts vanishing. :( Galaxy 19 is now what Telstar 5 was, so that's fine. The TP above is strong as well as 12177 V 23000 .Once you have scanned in some channels you can upload your channels from the CW to USB and use an editor to rename the sat or edit channels..I have a CW channel editor I will upload in the Captiveworks section for you.

Thanks viper. But now I have been trying for last Hour, and cannot get locked in to the Sat, is there anything about turning the LNB in a spicific position or it just stays straight as usual?

Take a look at dishpointer.com and enter your location. It should show you the correct LNB skew settings for your location for any satellite your are pointed at.

My location for example if I want Gaxaly 19 my LNB would be rotated 17 degrees to the west. This is not much of a rotation, but it's enough to count. You can peak it once you have signal.

Thanks GI, now you guys are gonna get pi**ed of at me. What should be my LNB settings if I am using the Circular LNB?

You mean Linear or universal not circular right.. the linear will need to be set as 10750 frequency as opposed to 11250 for circular.

Sorry viper, my mistake. Is that the same type of Lnb that we used to use to Get Echo 121W?

No problem..if it's for Universal try setting to frequency of 9750-10600

Same lnb that was used in the past for 121w. As Viper stated in previous posts, 10750 for linear or 9750/10600 for universal.
