I have a ten foot Perfect 10 dish from Jacksonville Arkansas with a Star Trak Six receiver.
My question is will I be able to use this receiver to watch any channels or is it outdated?
I have mounted the dish and are ready to wire up the receiver to it and read a note in the setup manual that it will be helpful to have a current guide to what is on at whatever particular time.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
 
Welcome to Legitfta rockonnnn68. Your receiver is analogue and basically outdated, you'd be lucky to even find a feed with it. You also might want to check your feed as well(lnbs). Your receiver may be used as a positioner if it has the proper ports on the back, some pics would be nice so we can make an assessment. I would suggest a minimal investment into an X2 receiver, which can be purchased here, and you would probably be good to go.
