Eastman Kodak Co, which invented the hand-held camera and helped bring the world the first pictures from the moon, has filed for bankruptcy protection, capping a prolonged plunge for one of America
 
Pretty sad to see a company which invented the digital camera not embrace it, especially when the digital camera is the catalyst of their demise. They should have put a phone in their camera! lol
 
Since 1891..That's a long time and a shame.You have to wonder about the upper management.. I'll bet there is not many people who have not owned a Kodak product at one time or another in their lifetime..
 
I've had a few Kodak products in my lifetime. You really have to wonder about upper management and what they were thinking as to where they thought the industry was heading. With the brand power and longevity of the company, over 120 years is a long time, you have to wonder if the lesser known companies will still be in business long enough to honor their product's warranties.
