I downloaded Maxthon web browser for my android phone today and noticed they have a PC version and decided to give it a try.

I'm very impressed with the speed and options this thing has so far.

You guy's should give it a try, I think you will enjoy it.

Maybe try adding them to the dictionary..Not sure if thats an option, But I have been using it since I posted it..I like it..very fast and I do the options.
 
I first heard of it on my Playbook. I'll check out the PC version. Tried it on the PB because Hulu is intentionally blocking the PB.

Gretting ready to check out Mandriva 2012, been running 2010.2 since it came out.

And Hi all...very busy and S9 HDMI wants to not work...Caps in PS I think. Ain't got any to fit it, ordering some.

Gonna go check it out.

The PB browser is top of the line and so is Max.
 
Ok, already don't like it. Had to put my beer down to log in.

Just kidding, but I did.

Looks cool...let me take it for a test drive starting with colors and the bar on the left...looks like a hole I could fall into.

It is fast...gotta import bookmarks...can't do without that...fast!

Dam, very fast, intuitive, and smart. Took me 2 seconds to get bookmarks imported and well...

In my bookmarks bar I have folders such as S, Q, T, C, H, t and they are one letter for what they are. S=Search. T=temp to be deleted, Q=qiuck access to whatever...

Max lays them out like Windows 95 when someone did't know how to orginize their start menu. It makes columns, Chrome and all the others scroll. This is a big plus.
 
I have found one issue I haven't been able to get around. On FF and I log into one site, in particular, I can open photos but with Maxthon, they won't open. No big deal, just find it strange.
 
Had one browser crash. I forget what I was doing but no big deal. I really like chrome and its use of screen space and I just don't like change. Use the chrome skin for Max. It is really good.

It is a keeper and I'm going to use it all day today as I installed it on the desktop too.

I didn't like the big square face, use a skin. With the chrome skin you have zoom in the bottom right and it is just really good. The Mac skin is also pretty good if you don't like that big face looking at you.
 
I was using FF for years, but the Maxthon browser just blows it away for speed..all I ever use now..
 
I have it installed on two machines, one xp the other is win 7, the only issue I had is that on my win 7 machine if I go to a website that host video (like history.com) and click on a video to watch the full screen button on the video player is missing. I have to zoom in until it shows up but when the video is then full screen it only shows a portion of the video as if I zoomed in on one section and won't allow me to zoom out. On my xp machine it doesn't not do this at all.
 
My only issue, being so computer suave-not, is how to get it to remember my past history like the sites I frequent most by just typing 1 letter.
