This site, legitfta.com was started well over a decade ago when http existed instead of https that we have today. Some web browsers such as Microsoft Edge scan the website you are trying to access, and will throw up flags or warnings if they think a problem exists. Security is taken very seriously here with scans of the site done regularly along with other things to ensure everyone has a secure place to interact and visit.
The Microsoft Edge web browser determined that indeed we did (past tense) have some links in older posts that were http instead of https. So it threw a warning to the user of the computer or smartphone warning that the site may be unsafe as shown here:
The solution to fix this was simple. We like most other sites keep the https certificate updated, so all that was needed was to eliminate any stale http links from years past. 1,695 Posts + 4 signatures were found to have http instead of https on this site. In a nutshell, we are currently running a XenForo webserver, so built-in XenForo tools were used to correct this. The Microsoft Edge web browser warning for legitfta.com should no longer exist. If you still see it, clear your cookies for legitfta and reboot.
