Mutliple feed bud setups

Anyone using 2 or more feed setups on their buds? It would be fun and informative to see your multiple feed setup. Your comments on lnbs, lnbfs, performance, problems and uses would be interesting and appreciated. Pictures would add icing to the cake.

Yesterday I was tweaking my setup and since it was a beautiful day I took some pixs and thought I would post.

I originally set mine up to record shows on 103 and 99, but since Metv moved, I now use it for 101 and 105. Signal wise, I have no problems with both sats. My lnbfs are inexpensive DMSI that replaced my original Chaparral feed and C + Ku lnbs with co-rotor. I was thinking of going with an orthomode feed, but as long as every thing works properly, I'll wait till I get that itch to tweak some more.

Now that the weather has improved, time to paint the ole girl.

Finally got around to giving "Mona" a coat of flat black paint after much neglect. Of course my dog Trixie had to inspect and I guess she approved. LOL

Here are some pictures of my multi LNBF setups.

120cm dish - Motorized: KU + C (Varies depending on what KU satellite is selected)
160cm dish - Stationary: C (Galaxy 17, Galaxy 16, Anik F1R)
180cm dish - Stationary: C (SES2, Galaxy 3C)

A simple 2" conduit clamp works great even without a scalar ring.

Screenshots of the CTV and CBC HD channels on Anik F1R with a signal quality of 83% and better using the secondary offset C band LNBF on my 160cm dish. Only a 2" conduit clamp is used without a scalar ring.

"Nice setup. I wish I lived where there are palm trees."

Thanks, when it hits 115 degrees in the summer, you begin to wonder if you had one too many when you made the decision to move. But as people keep telling me, it's a dry heat...

By the way Rrob311, do you need a manual for your ten footer? I can scan and post as a pdf.

Sure if you don't mind. I just finished setting up the actuator on it so now I have to set all of the positions. You must in the Southwest somewhere.
