I decided to get rid of the 4dtv ird I have been using to move my 6' solid ku dish, always have to change the video setting. I picked up a Pansat AP600 positioner which will take the place of the ird:

How much did you pay?

It cost me $89, they had it on clearance at skyvision. I had paid $99 for the Pansat AP3500 positioner which I'm using for my c band setup.

Will that positioner run through the stb? In other words, tell the stb what channels you want and it tells the AP 600 what sat to go to?

No it won't EC. I use it as a stand alone positioner, only hooked up to the actuator.
