Panam 14-17

Just did a scan of Amc 9 at 83w and came up with 4 channels scanning in as Panam 14-17, says scrambled even though my blind scan is always for fta only channels- I don't like cluttering up my stbs with encrypted channels:

Same here, you get on sat with a ton of encrypted channels and you spend more time deleting channels than watching them..
 
It happens quite often with the openbox and manhattan. They scan in as open but are actually encrypted.
 
Same thing here, somehow the boxes won't recognize the encryption on certain satellites or TP's and scans them in as FTA.
 
I don't have these issues with my azbox. Occasionally though the azbox will not open an unencrypted channel which is part of a tp where most channels are encrypted.
