Replacement Raptor Remote

Can I buy a Raptor replacement remote here or somewhere? The "enter" button is worn out on mine, I've repaired it a few times but not holding.

buy a harmony remote, they have the raptor information on their data base.

I don't have any spare remotes..Many fortis boxes use the same remote though..Optibox Gekko, Gekko + , Anaconda, Andaconda + , Raptor , as well as brand Skytec HD 110IR , Nerine , Jobi , Kleio , Blackbox , HDBox
A quick search shows a Czech site (http://www.emerx.eu/p-6541-optibox-anaconda-skytec-hd-110ir-original-remote-control) but searching the other models you might find one closer to home.

You might also try this site http://www.remote-control-world.eu/...tibox-koala-replacement-remote-control-p-2275 with the closest RC being the Koala for about $30. Looks the same as the Raptor's. By the way, did you take yours apart?

Yes I took it apart and replaced the rubber pad on the "enter" button with a copper pad, but I over cleaned the circuit board pads apparently made of carbon deposits that washed off. My repair got it working, but jumps two or more pushes quite often. Gona have to look over these remotes you guys posted.

Bummer on the remote..... I took mine apart too and added a small piece of a/c adhesive backed aluminum foil. Cut it in a circle just small enough to fit and attach to the back part of the OK button. Attached it to the small black dot of the OK button. Works great, whereas before I had to mash the OK button to get it to work.

Too bad there aren't any suppliers in the U.S.

Do a search for MG Chemicals 8339 Rubber Keypad Repair Kit and read the reviews at various sites such as Amazon. You can also try demister rapair conductive paint. Then there is the cheap and temporary method of using pencil graphite on the rubber and cleaning the circuit board copper with an eraser.
