if you pop the s10 tuner out and power up,the info screen shows all zeros for the mac id etc.After 3 boots the receiver says your box is clone and erases the bootloader and 1st 64k of maincode in flash.You can recover with loader v2.0.0c,so that was interesting.
Now I know what a clone kill on a genuine receiver is like.
 
been there done that
all zeros on info screen but no clone kill.
Maybe somebody with two s10's can write the info screen info down then pop in another tuner to see if any difference.
Still don't know where info screen info is stored,possibly the security chip which has eeprom.
 
a selling point in europe for s10 is the terrestrial tuner option,never seen one or seen different firmware to support that option.
