Good morning henric, Cos, EC, and the whole Legit gang. Tis mild indeed with a projected high of 10c,(50f). Was planning on going out ice fishing tdy for the first time in over 20yrs but there's so much slush and water on top of the ice we might have to wait for things to freeze up a bit. To bad cuz I haven't caught any ice in ages. Y'all have a super Saturday folks. Cheers.
Ahem......well theres a lady from Austria right about now that seems to be in the drivers seat and has never fished period. Shes hell bent on catching her first fish and being the comprimising individual that I am I will be assimilated. No doubt I'll be dragging out all the gear, dressing the lines, hauling things back, cleaning fish, and probably cooking after that. Good to see that I've become my own person though. Geeeeez!I thought you and I had discussed the merits of ice fishing, back in the fall, and had decided that it was one of those things that sounded good in theory but was just a bad idea, in principle. Besides, you don't even use ice with scotch so what possible reason could you have to fish for it? LMAO!!!!!
Update; Well, the young Austrian girl got her first fish all right. It just happened to be a 2 3/4lb walleye through the ice. I was right! I hauled out all the gear, did the set-up, dressed the lines, had to take photos of the dam fish, hauled the gear back, cleaned the fish and had to put up with alot of razzin' along the way. Now I'm being pressured about how & when I intend to cook the darn thing. And life is fair??? That'll learn me. Cheers.Ahem......well theres a lady from Austria right about now that seems to be in the drivers seat and has never fished period.
