Hi all, my x2 iii has died, it wont even boot, I tried the loader and it does not work like it used too, this is the third time, so I broke out my old sonic view 4000 , I can not get it to pick up any of my favorite pbs channels on 125 west, does this mean that it is too old?blind scan basically does nothing, now on 97 west I can scan and get most all of those, any suggestions ??

The PBS stations on 125W are in MPEG4, the SV4K cant decode them no matter what software update you use, the SV4K box is only MPEG2 compatible.
They are also on DVB-S2, 8 PSK channels so they are out of reach for that old of a receiver.
Sorry but it's time to do some shopping, if you do then be sure to get one that will work on the new 16 PSK transponders that are popping up.
