This is were we went yesterday, Komen Race for the Cure draws its second-largest crowd ever.

The 12th annual 5K walk and race benefiting breast cancer research drew 10,350 participants Saturday, the second-largest crowd for the event sponsored by the N.C. Triad chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. It began at the Salem College campus, wound through downtown and then returned to the Old Salem area.

We didn't finish the 5K lol wife was tried. Its a very touching thing to be a part of.

6.5 fok U Lee I would be lucky to run .5 lmao

That is a cool thing that you and your wife did. I have never had the opportunity to participate in something like that but would like to some day.

I pretty much only do my running on the treadmill. I like how I can control my pace on the treadmill and how I don't have to worry about distractions such as other people, cars, animals etc.. Running is a pretty good way to kill an hour or so. I don't go at a crazy sprint pace or anything. Usually do about 9 to 10 minute mile depending on how I feel.

I don't run unless the cops are chasing me.. :P

But for work I average 22,000 steps a day on the pedometer in a 6 hr span, and that's carrying heavy freight at the same time, maybe around 1400 items then around 4 walks for the doggie every day probably a few more miles there.
