Tonight's Big Bang/Star Trek episode

I just finished watching "The Bakersfield Expedition" My evaluation is good/poor.
The Star Trek costumes were well done with just the right mix of Big Bang character and Star Trek character. BUT... the Bakersfield location was awful. Very fake! The worst "Planet Hell" background ever seen on ST original series was more realistic than this. Only "Spectre of the Gun" runs second to this back drop. POOR.

The Big Bang scenes were painfully fake. As for ST original series, many of the on location scenes were shot at Vasquez Rocks.
