Eugene Polley sadly passed away this week aged a princely 96 years old. Eugene Polley will be always fondly remembered as the inventor of the first TV remote control in 1955. Television viewing changed forever as Polley created the first technological advance that would adapt and evolve over the years into our amazing techie world we live in now.
