Good Wednesday morning to everyone here at Legit. Finished work, now off until Saturday night and just sitting here watching a turkey breaking it's way out of it's shell. We built a home made incubator and all was going great. Night before last the young ducks and turkeys started to break out of the shells and the wait was on. Then sometime through the night the light bulb that is the heat source burned out and the temp in the incubator was down to 20C by morning. It should have been 37.5. Everything should have died then and there but it appears that at least some of the birds ar going to try to survive. So I am sitting watching Christmas dinner arrive into the world. Yum!!
