Good morning to everyone here at Legit. Looks like the heat and high humidity has finally broken and we are back to normal temps. My new V-Box should be here today as it was in the Ottawa postal center as of 1:00am today. With any luck, I may have the BUD back up and running shortly. Have a great day, Everyone.

Good afternoon EC, Viper and all Legit peeps, have a great Wednesday. Ouch EC, it's been a while since that lightning storm hit- I hope you had it parked on a worthwhile sat like Galaxy 16 at 99w.

I should have been so lucky. It is parked in no man's land so once I get connected again I think I will be starting over from scratch. I am currently looking at two poplar trees that are about 10" in diameter. They are just east of the BUD and I think their days are numbered. If I take them down, it should allow me a clear line of site down to at least well below 30W. I used to get that easily on the 39" but the BUD actuator would not go below 55W. I will need to do some work to figure this out but we've been OTA only since the lightening strike so it isn't a major problem. I haven't been able to find anything, by moving the BUD manually, since the strike.
