Good Wednesday morning to everyone here at Legit. Hopefully today will be a bit more productive than yesterday. Went out and bought a used grapple bucket for my skid steer, had a few repairs done and brought it home. Then made a half dozen trips back and forth to town for hydraulic parts and ready to go. Started filling a dumpster and on the 4th bucket load, I popped the front right tire off the rim. Started the new compressor uo, got the impact gun and couldn't find the damn 15/16 six point socket anywhere. Back to town for a new socket only to discover that the new compressor is not big enough to do the job. Went looking for the 3/4" drive set and could not find the darn 6" extension needed so I start all over again today. On the upside I was talking to a guy that has a 10' BUD with co-rotar II for free and he says it gets excellent Ku reception. He also has a DSR 921 for $50 and I have asked him to check and let me know if the battery is still good. Have a great day, everyone.

Good morning EC, Viper and all Legit peeps...I too like the free part but hdtv hardly has anything in the open but don't quote me on that(Rob would know).

I am going to ask him to verify that the battery is still good. Either way I may take the receiver but if the battery is good I could sub to Skyvision, if I ever wanted to go back to a sub. Much better packages and far better prices than the other criminals, er, I mean providers.

If the battery is good and you don't know if it's been replaced, it would be a good idea to do so rather than losing the receiver's id. I always keep mine plugged in to a UPS (universal power supply) which has a battery backup. As are my other receivers, just in case there is ever a voltage spike. Learned a hard lesson when we had a spike about eight years ago and the utility company's response was "things happen".
