which receiver is good to get in 2024?

Hello new to this forum but have been reading on here for a while.

I have been reading and trying to find out which receiver is good to get for north America? But there is no new info on what is good.

I don't want one that has to connect to the internet.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me.

Plenty has been written on this site about fta receivers, and the capabilities of different models. Almost every fta satellite receiver made within the past few years has internet connection capabilities. Just because it has internet capability does not mean you have to use it.

What exactly are you wanting to do? What satellites do you get or want to get? A good satellite dish system is needed if you are in North America.
