Woman reunited with missing cat during interview outside tornado-ruined home

When Tuscaloosa, Alba. resident Judy Pugh's home was destroyed in the April 27 tornadoes that swept through the area, she was lucky to survive.

When the tornado hit, Pugh took her three cats and ran into the hallway. Although the roof of her home fell in on her and the animals, the group miraculously survived with few injuries. But Pugh couldn't find her one cat, Cadie.

As a local news station was interviewing Pugh about her incredible story, she was telling the reporter about how much she missed Cadie, and just then the shaggy cat appeared out of nowhere.

Cadie had been out in the elements for nearly a month with no food or water, but seemed to be in decent condition.

While Judy's house may be gone, she has what she loves
 
man i live close to there that dang tornado made a mess i've been going thru the area helping folks and what a mess. this year has been the worst on in history i know of.it destroyed alot of Birmingham cullman Tuscaloosa all over Alabama and all over the us. 9ball said it got north carolina. michigan got hit missori,these picks from my home town. have no idea what pics i put on here i have so many seen so much damage i'm shell shocked. glad that cat made it thru it.so many of the peolpe i've helped so far are just so glald to be alive.don't worry though no matter what they show you on the news its so much worse.its unbelievable. ain't seen nothing like it in 30 years and i hope i never do again.
