16 Ft Fiberglass Buttonhook

You guys are LUCKY! Most of them around here have been removed and are long gone! I've found a few but most I don't want there in bad bad shape!

It's hit and miss around here, I got my 7.5 perfect 10 with a 24" VonWeise jack in very nice condition for 75 dollars, though I paid 200 for the pole I needed the one they had was way to short.
Still for 275, it sure beats what would have cost around 3,500 in the 90's.

Most people now day's apart from us think these big ugly things are useless...

I know of at least 20 channel master 10' buds in my area that aren't being used and yours for the taking, only problem is that most of them are really high up and I'm not breaking my neck for another. Sure would like to put up 1 more for the circular Atlantic sats.

Ya, but your probably 1500 miles from me! Not worth it unless I'm bringing back 20 of them and then it's still probably not worth it! Down by my lake house in the country I've seen quite a few, I'm gonna look this summer while I'm there and see if I can grab a few!

Definitely no lack of BUDs around here. There are 8 or 10 varying from 6' to 10', both mesh and solid within 15 minutes of here and yesterday, I had to go pick up two turkey hens and a tom, and counted 16, both solid and mesh. All but 2 are not in use and not sure about the two but they looked like they were being used. this puts 20 to 25 within about an hour that I know of. People still argue with me that there is nothing on them.

Got the 11 ft to the house today!

I finally managed to get the 11 ft BUD to the house this afternoon. Here are a few couple pics. This one has a 24' Von Weise Actuator which still works perfectly.

The weather was finally good enough to get out and clean the dish up:th_thumbs20up:

It is not tracking the arc very well as I can only get a signal from 91.0W to 101.0W, more tweaking needed:whoopdeedo:

I worked on the BUD yesterday and found the feed was off center by 2 inches, installed some makeshift guy wires to center the feed and now I can get at least a few channels on every satellite from 58.0W to 139.0W. I still have some tweaking to do, if the weather is nice tomorrow, I will take a small tv and receiver out to the dish and hopefully wrap this project up:yes2:
