A/V settings set up

Hello
I am looking advice how set the A/V settings on Enigma2 receiver
I am not familiar with this.
Only I have tested receivers like openbox's & coolsats but this seems more "detailed"
Using Vu+solo se hd with Vix apollo 166 image on LCD tv (1080i) connected with HDMI cable
what is the best setting for america LCD'S?
Normally on my others receivers I am using 480p for Sd channels and 1080i to HD

Enigma2 has a lot of settings that are not found on most closed source receivers.

What works best for me is to set the resolution equal to my tv's, which is 1080p or 720p. I do not run automatic resolution because I have not seen any benefits from using it.
