Attached are some pixs of the Aiassistant plugin on my SF8008. As you can see it handled the various questions very well. Where is the server error 503 bottleneck coming from? I'll test more items tomorrow. Great job!!!!

Version 11 Is attached.
After installing the attached version, Reboot the box. Wait 5 minutes. Then run in plugin screen or in terminal: /usr/bin/tnap-healthsheet --dir /media/hdd/health --quiet
After the above command completes, check /media/hdd/health.

Also, You are on 3.6. Try the attached plugin and move to 3.7 as shown here:

The health status report in html format working great..... it found on the sf8008:

Needs attention

  • 153% of boots ended without a clean unmount (398 of 259) - check how the box is powered down.

Went the wrong way --regression!
Version 13 is attached and should handle the question better after it is installed.
Question: Are you running Gemini 3.7 or 3.6?

The screenshots that are provided help. But when the AI is sent here to read the thread, it cannot "see" the screenshots, but it can "see" and read the text. If possible use terminal and simply paste the raw output. We have plenty of forum, so in some instances, it may take a post or two to properly paste the output.

In terminal, we call the AI using aiassistant followed by the question. To get better output, enable debug: aiassistant --debug <Question-Goes-Here>. If you can do this, it will help tremendously and save in development time + costs. Thanks.

Example output:

root@sf8008:~# aiassistant --debug In detail, what is the status of all tuners connected to this receiver?

There are **3 tuners** recognized and configured on this receiver:

**Tuner A (Internal DVB-S2)**
* **Hardware:** AVL62X1 demodulator (`/proc/bus/nim_sockets` socket 0, frontend 0)
* **Status:** Active / Live
* **Current Service:** WWOTX on 105.1°W (Westwood One)
* **Signal Quality:** SNR 13.98 dB (87%), AGC 100%, BER 0 (Locked)

**Tuner B (Internal DVB-S2)**
* **Hardware:** AVL62X1 demodulator (`/proc/bus/nim_sockets` socket 1, frontend 1)
* **Status:** Idle / Standby (available for background recording, PIP, or multi-satellite reception)

**Tuner C (External USB ATSC)**
* **Hardware:** LG Electronics LGDT3306A VSB/QAM frontend with SiLabs Si2157 tuner (cx231xx USB bridge, socket 2, frontend 2)
* **Status:** Idle / Standby (available for ATSC terrestrial OTA reception)

Copy and paste just like that. Then the AI can come here and read it. Also, if we could get others to use this plugin, the development would go faster.

I use this one line to install in terminal after placing the .ipk file in the receiver's /tmp folder: opkg update && opkg install /tmp/*k && reboot && exit
Doesn't matter how it gets installed as long as it is installed correctly.

Use the terminal window and bump the version to 3.7 flash. Then if possible use the terminal as previously described to ask questions you want answered. You will find 3.7 Flash performs better than 3.6 Flash. or even 3.8 flash. Gemini 3.6 is slower and less capable. For debugging, we need to run the same version, either 3.7 or 3.8. Thanks.
Verify with this:
aiassistant --version

Daily quota exhausted (429). This key has used up its free requests for the day; it will not recover by retrying. It resets at midnight US Pacific.

Until then: use a different provider in Setup, or add billing to this key.

....Excellent! Seems maybe the problem is solved and now the only complaint is the rate limit that you have exceeded. Your free tier should reset at midnight Pacific timezone.

root@sf8008:~#

root@sf8008:~# aiassistant --debug completly check the receiver for crash or other logs and explain the errors

The receiver logs and system state were checked across `/home/root/logs`, `/tmp`, and `dmesg`. Here is the summary of what was found:

### 1. Enigma2 Crash Logs (`/home/root/logs`)
* **`20260825-082013-enigma2-crash.log`**:
* **Cause**: `KeyError: 'false'` in Python UI components (`/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/config.py`, line 521 in `getText` called from `Setup.py` / `ConfigList.py`).
* **Explanation**: Occurred when navigating a setup menu where a configuration element returned the string `'false'` instead of a recognized dictionary key or boolean value type expected by the config description mapper.
* **Note**: This crash occurred on August 25 prior to the backup restore on August 27. No newer Enigma2 crash dumps exist in `/home/root/logs` or `/tmp`.

### 2. Active Logs (`/tmp`)
* **`twisted.log`**: Clean. Standard OpenWebif API polling (`/api/epgservice*`, `/api/about`, `/api/statusinfo`), all returning HTTP 200.
* **`oscam.log`**: Normal operation. Demuxers 0–3 are actively handling ECM/CW processing on BISS/DVBAPI streams without fatal daemon errors.

### 3. Kernel / Driver Messages (`dmesg`)
* **FAT Filesystem Warning**: `FAT-fs (mmcblk0p3): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.`
* Caused by a prior abrupt shutdown or power cycle on the boot partition (`mmcblk0p3`).
* **Hardware Demux Packet Drops**: `[ERROR-HI_DEMUX]: DmxSwitchOverflowMonitor: Dmx(2)/Dmx(3) had dropped ts packages.`
* The HiSilicon hardware demuxer logged dropped transport stream packets during high-bandwidth concurrent tuner/stream playback and recording.
* **Demux Channel Release Status**: `DmxSharedChanCbFunc: release cb data failed(0x80150018 / 0x80150002)`.
* Benign non-critical HiSilicon DVB driver status messages triggered when closing or re-tuning dynamic TS channels that were already released.

root@sf8008:~# aiassistant --debug Are there updates or upgrades available for this receiver? Are there any risks in the updates or upgrades?

There are **18 package updates** available across your feeds.

### Available Updates Summary
- **Enigma2 Plugins / System Plugins**: Minor package revisions (`r13` to `r14`) for Dreambox plugins, including `systemplugins-blindscan`, `extensions-imdb`, `extensions-audiosync`, `extensions-dreamexplorer`, `extensions-btdevicesmanager`, and `systemplugins-vfdcontrol`.
- **Streaming / IPTV Extensions**: `samsungtv` (1.13.1 to 1.14.2), `rakutentv` (0.14.1 to 0.15.2), and `nwwsviewer` (1.1 to 1.2).
- **Core / Media Libraries**: `gstreamer1.0-plugin-multibox-dvbmediasink`, `libdreamdvd0`, `python3-pysmb` (1.2.9 to 1.2.15), and `ofgwrite` (multiboot flashing utility).
- **Cosmetics**: `openpli-bootlogo` and `poster-pli-hd-fullnight` skin component.

---

### Risks and Considerations
1. **Low Kernel / Driver Risk**: There are no kernel, HiSilicon BSP/driver, or base Enigma2 core binary updates in this batch, which keeps the risk of a boot failure very low.
2. **GUI / Media Restart Required**: Upgrading `dvbmediasink` and Enigma2 plugins requires an Enigma2 GUI restart to take effect. If upgraded while watching live TV or media playback, the stream will glitch or restart.
3. **No Active Recordings**: There are currently no active timer recordings running, so an update and GUI restart won't interrupt an in-progress capture.
4. **Multiboot Safety**: Since you are running in multiboot slot 2, you can take a backup of your settings or settings/image to another slot before applying if you want an instant fallback.

If you'd like to proceed with upgrading all packages, let me know and I can run `opkg upgrade` followed by an Enigma2 GUI restart.

Note: This needs work as the current slot number is 4 and Not 2!

First, Let's understand the error.
401/403 → bad key, permissions, or authentication
429 → quota or rate limit reached
500 → unexpected provider-side server error
503 → service temporarily unavailable, usually because the selected model/service is overloaded or unavailable
504 → provider or upstream service timed out

You are running on the free tier, so it is easier to get a 503 error as compared to a paid tier like I have.

The most important thing here may be technique of the install. This is how I install:
Plugin sent to /tmp of the receiver, then in telnet: opkg update && opkg install /tmp/*k && reboot && exit
How you install is up to you. but at minimum, enigma2 needs to be restarted, and with this plugin in particular, a REBOOT after installation is suggested.

The aiassistant plugin depends on written instructions that are part of the plugin files, plus the information in the health folder. These items do not "run" the aiassistant per se, but they do provide valuable information that keeps the aiassistant from executing command after command trying to find the correct answer. The important part here is: After a REBOOT, it takes a minimum of 2 minutes for the receiver to settle and have all the information the AI needs.
Before calling the aiasistant, the health folder needs to be updated and present. For your receiver, that should be /media/hdd/health. After a reboot, it takes 2 minutes for the health folder to be updated.

So going forward, install the updated aiassistant plugin, reboot, then wait about 5 minutes before calling the aiassistant. This should cut down on api calls and help bypass or eliminate the 503 errors that you see.

Also the attached version 22 has made some adjustments that should help silence the 503 error. We do not want a string of api calls that waste tokens and ends with error 503, only to get nothing in return....
