Claude and TBS5930

I see Claude posted a paper on the TBS5930 and SF8008 dated back to Jan, 2025. I didn't find if he created a driver for the said unit. Is Claude still researching the project or has he sidelined it?

I assume you are referring to the documents section of tnapimages.com?
Anyway, to add TBS5930, someone will have to own or have access to the device and also be able to build the image for it. The fun part comes after that, which includes debugging and testing. The whole ordeal could be some days or weeks, depending on how many issues are encountered. I have not seen anyone interested in tackling this project, but it is something I have thought about. There does not seem to be any interest in it.

Since the TBS5930 (M88RS8060) has similar characteristics to the AVL6261, the benefit for TNAP will probably be minimal.
Only if someone requires features that Si216x cannot provide (e.g., ShortFrameFEC).
