hopefull newbie ...lilla

i hve a 39" dish with a GEOSAT pro micro and my latitude is45.7402-longitude -61.2773 the sat on my location is 91 W GALAXY 17(G17) but dont seem to be able to get anything.... . I rotated from east to west and the only indication I get is that the lnb is working at best. thanks for any and all suggestions:bowdown:my best is ...triving hard lilla

Hi lilla! Are you off the eastern end of Nova Scotia? If so, 91w is a tough one to dial in up north due to the fact that there is a circular bird up here (Nimiq 6) that is quite powerful. What kind of lnb do you have? I have one of my 39" dishes fixed on that bird. If you check here: http://www.legitfta.com/forum/showt...ponders-for-dish-aiming-nbsp-(6-Participants)

There is a list of stronger transponders to help you aim. If you are using a meter and it rises up on 91w its probably Nimiq instead of Galaxy. Galaxy is very close to it so I recommend using a receiver to lock it.

try it with the receiver and I get a good LNB reading but the quality goes from 0-to 80+ but keeps on jumping and don't seem to be able to get it looked in , I also changed all connections but no results. ,thanks.funny part of it I had it locked in for a some time, the only solution I can see maybe change the LNB??????
