LPB on 87W

Anybody else having problems locking LPB? I have everything else booming in at 9-10 db but not a sniff on LPB. I know they could have leased their carrier as they do from time to time but almost always it has been back by this hour of the night. I swapped to a new LNB and made no difference. My meter has decided to take a crap so I'm working with the bare minimum but it has worked on that carrier previously and far as I know nothing has changed. Just wondering :)

Thnx!

Geosat dish - LPB zilch for me.... newssource 12.4 db - Florida lottery 9.5 db - Patient channel 10.7 db

LPB has been problematic for the last two weeks for me.

LPB is about 2 dB lower in signal then all the rest on 87W, I'm using a 1 meter dish with an Invacom LNB.

87W also has a funny footprint, it's a bit weak in the middle of the US, so depending where your located could also be a problem.

87W footprint:https://www.lyngsat-maps.com/footprints/SES-2-North-America-Ku.html

And here is an active footprint map, use the KTV footprint, you can then zoom into your location and click on it, it will give you an estimated signal for that satellite at that location, also an estimated dish size needed.

Same problems here for me for at least the last two weeks. I'm using a 75e dish, and haven't had a problem with LPB before that I recall. Even once in a while I see a signal, but then it disappears not too long after. Even their LPB LATV feed is having problems, it use to be as strong as Patient Channel.

Thanks for replies folks! At least I know it's not me currently anyway. I've tried different LNB setups and all sorts of movement maneuvers and a big fat 0 on all their carrier locations. If I could get my motor to cooperate with my OS MIO I would give the other PBS mux a shot on 97 I believe it is but it seems to move to where and when it wants to move and not so much where I command it. I don't understand the problem. We moved maybe 30 mile as the crow flies and everything was perfect before but I've never been able to get the motor setup and working here for some silly reason. Thanks again everyone!

Im in the 50DbW contour. Apparently they have changed their link budget or maybe uplink problems. My system has been very finicky on LPB for a good while now. I had it last week and changed out my LNB without checking signal first. I changed back to the original LNB just for grins and that made no difference. Hope they get things ironed out. The only other PBS I have is PBS NC and it's finicky as well with a rimshot signal at best.

Thanks!

Update: LPB is back for me tonight albeit a bit weak in quality but if it stays and the weather cooperates I can likely squeeze a bit more from the lnb.
At 6.9 Db C/N its doing good.
