Please do not use Caps for all your letters as that is like shouting. I do hope your using your x2 for true fta channels and not hack as we do not tolerate that discussion here.
And Welcome to legitfta!!. You are the one who can choose the sat you want to scan and get channels in. In order to scan channels you need to be aimed at a satellite with Free to Air channels and have the proper Dish size and LNB type. This is something you need to do by your self. You need to configure your box with the proper LNB type and specs otherwise you may scan the channel in and will not be able to watch them. can you help us a bit and let us know your Dish size, lnb type and the possible satellites you want to scan in??
I prefer aiming a fixed dish with a receiver that has the signal beep function, and then I use wireless uhf headphones out at the dish to hear the beep.
Hi i think that is my problem i was using and old dish network dish and lmb. i just order an standard linear dual ku band lnbf
and i will test it is supose to work with galaxy 19,25,3c,amc,ect. thanks.
I'm sorry for the confusion with my dish I took a look at my dish and is a dish HD, I Have connected my X2 M1 the dish is pointing to galaxy 19 KU, but all the channels are scrambled. I am new at this and don't know if this FTA box doesn't work or I am doing something wrong. Again, thank you for your help.
Most of the transponders at 97w should have a symbol rate of 22000. If you look at the channel list section you will see what channels are available FTA on what transponder. It sounds like you may be aimed at the wrong bird.
