I have always had TNAP-6 and I read all the posts but i didn't see the latest release yesterday.
After updating image, wireguard works fine.

I don't have a vpn key to use the wireguard but I was able to install it using this telnet command on the mio 4k+.
Does have a speed test feature that can be useful.

Sf8008.
1) mount manager is missing. And it is not possible to download it because it is also absent in the "systemplugins" download. Same goes for "serviceapp".
2) integrated "Full backup" menu is missing, instead of necessarily installing the backup suite plugin.
3) vfd display menu.
In my case, for example, I would like to display only the time but the display continues to flash time + remaining time, despite the settings being the following:
- "show flashing clock on display during recording" set to "off"
and
- show on VFD" set to "always clock".
4) I would replace the Dream Explorer plugin with a more complete one like File commander.
For example, with Dream Explorer it is not possible to display the size of a file.
But the "File Commander" plugin is not present in the plugin download

All your comments concern plugins, which can be loaded either via Systemplugins or via the Internet, and do not concern TNAP6.
That's what's so special about Enigma2, everyone can adapt their receiver to suit their needs.
As far as TNAP6 is concerned, I can only see the problem of the blindscan with the MIO4K, but I haven't tried everything yet.

Suggestions are excellent as that is how things are made better! But today we are focusing on the build and setting it staright which iis progessing nicely I think.

Extra driver plugins Are not needed and will be discontinued. Use right and left arrow keys on the remote to select the driver (1-4).
Hey EB. Been using v6 a bit here and there. Is your new plugin hinting that in the future all of the drivers will be in the image. And be select-able with the plugin?
I'm wondering something else also. I've been seriously holding off from getting a SF8008 because of your hint that the next model might address low SR issues of the current models.
On guy on satguys offered me a practically new dual DVB tuner model because he's paranoid of the Huawei chipset having a "call home" back door exploit. Funny, huh!?
He shoved it in the closet.
Extracting an Os Mio image is pretty easy.
But how would a person extract an SF8008 or Ustim image? Can it be done in Windows?

Yes, most likely, all AVL6261 modded drivers, both old and new will reside in the TNAP 6 image. It's easier and less confusing. Scarthgap has been a tough nut to crack, but there will be some improvements with it and should provide an easy ride in the updates department at least all summer.
Anyone is free to believe what they wish, but if you are paranoid of a product then why buy it? And if you are scared of the internet, then why connect to it? Are you such a valuable person that someone somewhere wants to know what television channel you are watching? To me it is ridiculous, and the SF8008 has been out since 2018.... Don't you think someone would have noticed if it was linking to the INTERNET by now??

Thing is. When I extract an Os Mio image. I eventually get directories that resemble those on the receiver when using FTP. With the Octagon and Ustim images. Extracting the zip file gives bin files resembling....Android? Fastboot.bin? Any way. Extracting the usb_update.bin which is a big file, 546+ KB in size. Renders a directory with eight 1 KB files. So, was just asking what's up with that. It's all good though. Consider it a try before you buy thing.
Perahps I missed something. What is the deal with the supposedly next version of the SF8008 and the low sr thingy? Any guestimated time frame?
You extracted the usb version. Extract the multiboot version...

Installed tnap, ver 301 into my friend's mioMINI box, and noticed same sluggishness on aura skin as in my mio+.
As soon as we changed the skin to plifull-hd, no more sluggishness in both boxes!
I may be wrong, but looks like there is something in aura skin witch makes osmios sluggish.

It's probably what you are running. You had like 100 MB that was unaccounted for. If you are using cams, make sure they are correct. Cams cause lots of problems. For North America, if you are using something by Mohammed or any of the other characters, then you probably have the wrong stuff installed. We don't support cams here. Just something to think about and check.
