TNAP-7 Image Discussion

All other images I've installed haven't had this problem.
If nothing can be done, too bad.
I do not have a SF8008, but my suggestion is to clean install in your box, a known to work TNAP version (6 or 7) using the image install from another image/slot, set up a working wifi & password, and run ENIGMA2_DEBUG.trigger, just to verify that dma memory is bad or not. Again I'm not programmer & I do not know anything about this box.

That will not work. The ENIGMA2_DEBUG.trigger was made simply to provide information about a box that otherwise has little to no access. The ENIGMA2_DEBUG.trigger file is actually empty.

ENIGMA2_DEBUG.trigger
, Is just a file that tells a script to output to this location. So the script runs and knows where to output because of ENIGMA2_DEBUG.trigger, Nothing more than that. For this to work on another image, the script would need to be installed into it. TNAP 7 is the only image right now that has the script in it. Plus the script is not even needed if you can telnet into the box because you can run the same commands using Telnet.

It is an unfortunate situation, but nothing more can be done unless more information is presented. I spent at minimum 4 hours working on this problem and have now marked it as unsolvable. We cannot build or design an image for a single receiver that does not work correctly. Is python 14 the problem? Is the image just simply too big? I do not know....All I know is I cannot fix it. We will see....

Thanks. What were you doing when the crash occurred? Looks to be skin related. Should be fixed in the next update. But would like to know how it happened so the fix can be tested. Thanks. Also. log files are not supposed to need to be zipped on this site. This makes them easier to attach. ( Note the word supposed.)

What changed?
Python 3.14 was updated to python 3.14.3 on 02-03-2026. This is a very recent update and is already in our image. Other image items reflect what is currently available. This image should have all of the latest updates available.

TNAP 7 is unique because it can run both OpenPli and OE Alliance plugins. This feature causes some confusion when building, but it is actually a nice feature when it is fully implemented and working properly. OpenATV Metrix Skin for example is now in the feeds. This skin will need some work to run properly, so consider it a Work-In-Progress.

The network issues should be solved, and solutions for any crash file that has been presented here have been addressed and should be fixed. The idea is to silence all crashes, get the TNAP features installed and working, then add extra features from the split OE Alliance-OpenPLi feeds.

It currently takes about 20,400 steps to build this image with the feeds. This is the largest number of any image that I have built. And this number will increase as items are added to the feeds.
