Winter Storm Nemo to hit Northeast with snow

They are predicting a large 1-2 feet storm on Friday in the Northeast. They are calling this one Nemo. Hopefully it is not too bad because I have to work and don't feel like snowblowing the driveway. This is around the time of year that the infamous blizzard of 78 took place where many motorists got stranded on the roads and some suffocated in their cars from getting snowed in on I95.
 
Governor Duval Patrick declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts. They are saying on the news that you can get up to 1 yr behind bars for driving on the roads during this time. I remember when they had the big storm in 04-05 where I drove to NJ to pickup equipment during the state of emergency in NY and NJ. It was pretty nice because the interstate was pretty much all to myself and I raced a cop who was in his personal truck down the main drag in Mt Laurel NJ ( I didn't know he was a cop) and we were doing like 55+ through the snow and I had trouble keeping up with him. Way I found out he was a cop was I followed him to dunkin donuts because it was the only place that was open and I hadn't eaten dinner yet.
 
We got about the same here Rob but living in Canada we are always ready for whatever mother nature can throw at us- business as usual.
 
Ya I grew up in Lake Tahoe where 3-5 foot storms are normal. It snows way less in New England so it is always nice to see a decent 2-3 foot storm while many people panic. hahahah
