Hi any body use this new x2 receiver
X2 Premium IV HD PVR FTA Satellite Receiver - Special Edition ON Aliexpres seling for $59 is it good and IPTV work or not.
 
I recently purchased a Premium IV for that price from AliExpress, but have not received it yet. Will post a review once I get the receiver.EB

X2 Premium IV is an upated version of the Premium III. They both used the same firmware thus the Premium IV has more memory. Its a wonderful FTA receiver and yes, the IPTV works fine. It does include a Movies, Weather, You Tube and Google Map as well.
 
My receiver arrived yesterday, which is about normal for AliExpress.

The Premium IV receiver comes with many accessories, and two remotes. Very Impressive!

I also note FCC and other certifications on the gift box and on the bottom of the receiver. I think Rick Caylor sells only ONE receiver that has a FCC certification attached to the receiver, so I can see why he is crying about the Premium IV. It looks like Rick needs to get the rest of his receivers certified so they will be LEGAL!
 
I've had mine for a week now. $58 from Amazon. Replaced the old CoolSat 6000 Premium. Superior picture. Liking the IPTV, even though some channels cause the unit to reboot, while others, the audio has a chipmunks on helium echo.
Loaded some additional IPTV channels to it, but still trying to locate the motherlode. Not sure yet if it allows subscription to a service.
 
Just received an APK Mobile Control for the Premium III to be used with Androids without any instructions. Have no idea how to use or install. Will post it when I get some instructions

Great! There are new firmware for it that I posted a few days ago. September for the X2 Premium III and October for the X2 premium IV. No idea what was updated. Didn't received any release notes and haven't heard from X2 in a while.
 
Have had 3 of these for awhile. use them just to scan never powered on more than 2 hours mostly on the weekend.
one of them the past few months has trouble seeing the remote. needing re-booted or just wait keep pushing the buttons in frustration. reset it about a month ago that worked for awhile ... but now nothing

These come with 2 remotes I've mostly/always used the smaller one. the other bigger remote doesn't help now.
how would one make the change ?
