The Car Insurance thread reminded me of my first Car..

So I, thought It might be interesting for people to post what was your first Car!

As Soon as I could get a license at 16 and scraped up the money and I bought 1967 Galaxy 500 convertible..

On the way home someone in a 1977 LTD rear ended me... the LTD was a total and I drove the Galaxy 500 home..My parents thought I was nuts for buying this bashed up car...lol. But hey got a new paint job right away..
 
What a diff, a piece of junk Russian box on wheels to a V8 power machine, had a couple of accidents until I realised that 200km per hour wasn't safe.
 
A white Buick Skylark, think it was a 1980. Soon after U.S. Customs impounded it...lmao...went on a day trip with my bro
and with the son of mothers friend, he was visiting from Scotland...When asked by customs where he was from he said Saskatchewan, he couldn't even say it right!! lol...Don't know what possessed him to lie but he did, Customs impounded my car and we had to take the bus back from the border..

And I remember when your bro took you to pick it up in the spring and your bro was following you home down the QEW doing like 140 with white smoke pouring out the exhaust since it was sitting so long... lmao
 
I started with a 1970 mercury monterey with a 429 -V8,,,at 110 mph the windows would start to lean out,,,lol,,,it was a ugly car but it would fly,,,,lol...it had 500,000 miles on it before I put it to rest,,,close to the end when you went to the gas station you checked the gas and filled up with oil,,,lolol

1976 buick lesabre Then went to a 1969 Elo what a foking car a 472 front wheel drive boat loved it was my dad's sold it to me for $1.00 lol 8 mile to the gallon on gas but at that time I think gas was about 68 cents a gallon. lol

Mine was a 1978 GMC Short wheel based van, it originally had a 305 engine, but I installed a 350 4 barrel. Once I tweaked out the carb it was really hard to keep any rubber on the rear wheels.
