What's For Dinner Tonight?

6 1/2 lb roasting chicken with all the works, as requested by my mom who is in town for the weekend.
 
Butterflied Canada goose breasts on the bar-b-que, marinated in a steak sauce, mashed taters and corn. Think I'll even have an Alexander Kieth's as they are cooking.
 
Not a productive day, at all, wind swung around and set it up so the darn geese couldn't find a way to land in the decoys. Only got 4 but hopefully tomorrow will be more productive calling for wind and rain and that usually gets them moving. Here's hoping
 
Ha Ha, roast wild turkey!! Took it down with my favorite weapon......a 2003 Dodge 1500 Ram!! Throw in mashed potatoes and some corn and all is great!! Had around 40 stupid turkeys come down, on the road, right in front of me and they got lucky in that I only hit one. Had I not tried to miss them I would likely have taken out half a dozen. The only damage was a broken wing.
 
Next time don't be so freakin' nice and hit a few more and send 'em my way EC. I've got a rib-eye on the charcoal with a baked tater and some fresh green beans on the menu, and some kinda weird liquid that comes in a brown bottle. Cheers.

Man, I could have used some of that scotch tonight. For some stupid reason I thought Hamburger Helper would taste just as good as when I was a kid. Guess what...........wrong! Good thing I bought beer. Sheeeeesh!
