TNAP-6 Image Discussion

In case it hasn't been reported, blindscan misses some transponders such as 4120V34286-2/3 at 97W, DVB-S2, 16APSK. I was able to manually scan that transponder to get the services.

I don't know how you expect things to get looked at, much less fixed when you provide such little information. Two scan reports are generated in each completed blindscan. One report has the found transponders in .xml format, and the other report shows the found channels and transponders. Both of these reports default to /tmp of the receiver. At minimum, You need to post these reports when you have problems with scanning.

Shown below are my blindscan results of 97w taken at different times. Note they all contain 4120V34286 or thereabouts...

Currently we are building a version of tsduck and at present, tsduck is installed when the image is built. Efforts are being made to have a transponder scanner that scans for pids which I think will be useful. This project has been very time-consuming, but it is slowly starting to work as envisioned. The attached file should be downloaded and examined to see what is happening. Being able to scan for pids and find pids that might have been missed in the ServiceScan should be useful-Providing it works (see attached).

Hello ,
perhaps I have misunderstood, with my OS mio4K and the latest version of TNAP6 of 2025 04 03 I can not find the plugin
“servicescan DStuck” and in post 328 I don't see anything to load, there's only the Cband result 4010.

Hello el bandido
I would like to show my results with the Ustym 4K pro and the Mio4K with the new version of TNAP6 2704.
Using ScanTSDuck I must be making a mistake, but with the two receivers I have a crash ( attachment )

thanks for your work

I updated my OS mio 4k from 5.1 to TNAP 6 and it is working fine but there is one glitch that I encountered after my last reboot. When watching a recorded program the front display shows the remaining time but about every one second, it quickly flashes the current time. On a channel, after the on screen info display ends, the front display alternates between the channel and current time for 10 seconds then stops and shows the time. Neither affects the operation of the unit.

Can I get a refresher? How do I get the channel list to not be ordered alphabetically? After uploading to my mio4k from a channel editor with channels how I like them. They list in alpha.
that pool player chickie better hit the stairclimber....jus' sayin'....lol!!

You can only classify programs by entering them in a favorites list, but in the satellite program list, they remain in alphabetical order.

I wanted to keep the question brief. For an example. OpenViX, OpenATV and a few other images I've tried allows a menu selection to list channels in a bouquet in alphabetical order.
Because it's a second thought and never really had to deal with it. I believe the channel order is in the order scanned in.
My question is using a channel editor. And ordering my channels so that receivable ones are in a particular order.
To keep from having to skip over scrambled, radio, or any channels in alphabetical order.
There is an option in the menu someplace that will let a person retain the order that a channel list is uploaded back to the receiver?
In TNAP 6 I seem to not be able to find the setting selection.

In a channel editor. E Channelizer. I am able to delete never to be watched, scrambled channels. I can move all radio channels that randomly scan in at the top or bottom of a channel list (bouquet that is named per the satellite...101W). And when uploaded to the receiver, stay in alpha order. Not my desire using TNAP 6.

The ScanTSDuck plugin has problems and should be removed. Try the Pid Scanner plugin instead.

Menu--->Setup--->Systed--->VFD Display Setup.

The VFD Display Setup will allow you to make minor changes to the display. Shown below is the settings I am using:
